what a crazy week or so it's been! we had christmas in chicago with mike's dad, stepmother, sisters, brother in law, and new baby cousin ("baby evitt"). i am quite sure we have managed to receive every CARS related piece of merchandise created. brady is already saying "for next christmas, i want _____". at least he's giving us a few months off.
i'm sure we have a million funny stories and/or brady wisdom to pass on but they escape me at the moment. we had a great time up north and other than the small fire that the kids started (they threw one of auntie colleen and one of uncle kevin's shoes into the fireplace. yeah, they WON'T do that again!) we had no mishaps there or back. relief.
mj and i ran the new years day 5K today and i'm totally pysched bc i RAN all 3.1 miles. i haven't done that since the 1/2 marathon last year. i'm ready to increase the mileage and get going. mj ran the race in less than 30 minutes, shaving almost 7 or 8 minutes off of last years time. awesome!
that's all--just trying to get through this week while the kids are out of school. have i ever mentioned how much i love their school--that they go, i mean?? : )
